While ARMA International will continue to publish six issues of Information Management each year, we will be delivering two of them – the May/June and the November/December issues – electronically only, saving significant paper, energy, and financial resources that would otherwise be required to print and mail them. We will provide access to a PDF version that you will be able to print. We will continue to print and mail the other four issues on their regular schedule.
This issue of IM focuses on technology and its role in meeting your organization’s information strategy. As a records professional, you have probably found managing electronic data challenging for some time. The more recent widespread adoption of social tools like blogs and wikis, which contain both structured and unstructured data, have only complicated that challenge. You will learn how to manage these tools and what to expect moving forward.
Exciting times are ahead for records management professionals. We are accepting proposals for the remainder of 2010 and welcome your suggestions. If you have ideas, please let me know so we can help you!
